After a successful run of four months, Bigg Boss 15 has finally reached its finale. The grand finale is a star-studded event and is graced by ex-winners of previous seasons. Apart from adding glamour factor to the show, the ex-winners came with a special purpose on the show. All the winners of previous seasons including Gautam Gulati, Urvashi Dholakia, Gauahar Khan, Rubina Dilaik and Shweta Tiwari went inside the house and met the contestants. Upon meeting the contestants, they offered a briefcase containing Rs 10 lakh and leave the game. Nishant took the offer and chose to walk out of the house. Earlier this month, singer Lata Mangeshkar was hospitalised in Mumbai's Breach Candy after she tested positive for COVID-19. The legendary singer has been in the ICU ever since and according to the regular health updates from her team, she seems to be getting better by the day. According to the latest update, the 92-year-old singer has been showing signs of marginal improvement and has been removed from the ventilator. A health update of Lata Mangeshkar released on January 27 read, "Lata didi continues to be in the ICU at Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai under treatment. She has been given a TRIAL of extubation (off the invasive Ventilator) this morning. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested an alleged drug peddler in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput's death on Friday. The accused was a neighbour of the late actor and was reportedly absconding. According to NCB officials, 31-year-old Sahil Shah aka Flacko was held after he returned to the city from Dubai. Reportedly, Sahil's name had come up during an investigation of an accused in a drug case related to the death of Sushant. Sahil will be questioned by the officials in a marijuana seizure case of last year as well as Sushant's death in 2020. As per reports, Sahil had been on the run for nine months after his name was revealed by the NCB in connection with their investigation into the drugs case. In June 2021, Sahil had filed a plea to protect himself from arrest in the case after it was reported that he was the prime suspect in the agency's drug probe related to Sushant's demise. In September 2021,  Bollywood Hungama  was the first one to report that the John Abraham-starrer  Attack  will release around Republic Day 2022. Sadly, due to the rapid spread of the Omicron variant, the country was swept by the third wave of Covid-19. As a result, all the films scheduled for release in December-end and January 2022 were indefinitely postponed. Filmmaker Suneel Darshan, who is known for films such as Inteqam and Andaaz , has filed an FIR against the search engine giant Google, its CEO Sundar Pichai and several other employees of the corporation, alleging an infringement of the copyright of his 2017 directorial Ek Haseena Thi Ek Deewana Tha on YouTube. According to several reports, the director has claimed that though he had not uploaded the movie anywhere, nor sold it to anyone, several channels on YouTube are profiteering off it and Google has refused to take the movie off those channels. His FIR, filed with the MIDC Police Station at Andheri East, alleges infringement of Sections 51, 63 and 69 of the Copyright Act of 1957. Sharing the information, Darshan told a print publication that his faith and belief in the advancement of technology are implicit, but the infringement of his rights is a cause of grave concern. Almost 15 years after Shilpa Shetty landed in an obscenity case where Richard Gere kissed her at a public event, the actress has been relieved from the case by a Mumbai court. In 2007, Richard and Shilpa had come together for a promotional event in Rajasthan. On the stage, Richard took Shilpa in his arms and kissed her, causing a stir in the country. Following the controversial public kiss, three cases were filed in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh against the duo. Shilpa and Richard were accused of ‘obscenity and indecency.’ Now, a Live Law report has revealed that Shilpa was granted relief in the case by Metropolitan Magistrate Ketaki Chavan who observed that, “It seems that the accused Shilpa Shetty is the victim of the alleged act of accused no. 1 (Richard Gere.) Disney has issued a response over its upcoming live-action Snow White remake following criticisms made by Peter Dinklage. The Game of Thrones star blasted the Disney remake during an interview on Marc Maron’s WTF podcast, calling out the fairytale’s “f**king backwards” depictions of dwarfs. A spokesperson for Disney said in a statement to Variety, “To avoid reinforcing stereotypes from the original animated film, we are taking a different approach with these seven characters and have been consulting with members of the dwarfism community. The Government of India released a list of the Padma awardees ahead of the 73rd Republic Day on Tuesday. Hollywood actress Ivory Aquino has been officially roped in to play Alysia Yeoh in the upcoming Batgirl movie, playing the first openly transgender character in a live-action DC Comics film. According to Deadline , the Filipina-American actress will join the previously announced cast members of Batgirl including Leslie Grace, essaying the lead role of Barbara Gordon/Batgirl, J.K. Simmons, Brendan Fraser, Michael Keaton and Jacob Scipio. Ivory Aquino will appear as Alysia Yeoh, the best friend of titular superhero Barbara Gordon (Batgirl). Recently, reports surfaced that the soon to be released Vijay starrer, Beast , is in demand for a Hindi remake as producers have been speaking to Sun Pictures to bag the rights. On investigation, Bollywood Hungama got a scoop. "Sajid Nadiadwala is the frontrunner to bag the remake rights of this invasion action thriller. The ace producer is among the biggest in Bollywood and believes that the plot of Beast has the potential to be tweaked into a mainstream action franchise. American actress and musician Evan Rachel Wood has revealed in a new documentary Phoenix Rising that she was “essentially raped on-camera” while filming the 2007 music video for Marilyn Manson’s ‘ Heart-Shaped Glasses’ .
