South Korean female group LOONA will reportedly not participate in the filming of preliminary round for reality show Queendom 2, which was scheduled for February 28 (today), as members Haseul, Yeojin, and ViVi test positive for Covid-19 while other members await their test results. According to the Korean tabloid Soompi, the group’s agency Blockberry Creative issued an official statement on February 28, announcing the diagnosis of the members and stating that they would be sitting out the Round 1 performances for Queendom 2. “Hello, this is Blockberry Creative. The City Civil Court of Hyderabad has issued an ad-interim injunction on releasing the upcoming show ‘ Lock Upp’ hosted by Kangana Ranaut. The order is awarded after a hearing and checking the documents of the petitioner Sanober Baig – who happens to be the sole right holder of the story and the script of the concept ‘ The Jail’ . The court also took on record the video clip of the trailer of ‘ Lock Upp ’ and concluded that it appears similar. Since the show was to be released on 27th February 2022; the court has passed the order with an urgent notice prohibiting the exhibition of the show on any electronic media, social media, etc. The concept is owned by Pride Media through its proprietor Sanober Baig and was written by Shaantanu Ray and Sheershak Anand and registered under the copyright act on 7th March 2018. Actor Armaan Kohli, who was arrested on August 28 last year, was once again denied interim bail by the court on February 22. The actor was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for alleged possession and consumption of drugs. Kohli had reportedly asked for an interim bail for 14-days in order to visit his ailing parents. He later urged the court to grant him bail for two days. According to NDTV, "the NCB, represented by special public prosecutor Advait Sethna, said the accused has been arrested under a relevant section of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act for possession of commercial quantity. The relevant section doesn't have provision for bail even on medical grounds, the NCB had argued, adding that the ground mentioned in the bail application doesn't inspire confidence." South Korean actor Park Seo Joon, popularly known for his performances in What's Wrong With Secretary Kim and Itaewon Class among others, has tested positive for COVID-19. Actor-filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar has run into legal trouble after a case was registered against him over the alleged portrayal of minors in objectionable light in his upcoming film Nay Varan Bhat Loncha Kon Nay Koncha. It has been alleged that the film features minors in obscene scenes. The case has been filed under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO). Along with Mahesh, producers, Narendra, Shreyans Hirawat and NH Studioz have also been mentioned in the complaint. Several reports suggest the case has been filed by the President of the NGO Bharatiya Stree Shakti, Seema Deshpande under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 292, 34, Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) Section 14 and Sections 67, 67B of the IT Act. Deshpande alleged that the film depicts sexual activities featuring minors and their aunt. Furthermore, she said that it also depicts violence involving children and the vulgar dialogues in the film. It seems like Dangal actress Sanya Malhotra is slowly becoming a favorite when it comes to intriguing characters. The actress, who is awaiting the release of Love Hostel , will reportedly reunite with producer Guneet Mongal after Pagglait for a comic caper. According to a daily, Sanya Malhotra will be donning the role of a cop in the upcoming movie which will be shot in Madhya Pradesh. The director is yet to be known, so is the rest of the cast. The actress will reportedly head to Madhya Pradesh post the release of Love Hostel for a month-long schedule. Meanwhile, Sanya Malhotra will next star in Sam Bahadur with Vicky Kaushal and Fatima Sana Shaikh. She is rumoured to join Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee's next. Anshuman Jha, the Mumbai based film and theatre actor best known for his work in his debut Feature Film Love, Sex Aur Dhokha  and the recent Hum Bhi Akele, Tum Bhi Akele  - will soon begin shooting for his directorial debut with Lord Curzon Ki Haveli in London. The film was initially supposed to go on floors in March 2020, but unfortunately suffered a long delay due to the pandemic. 'Peaches' singer Justin Bieber has tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, the 27-year-old pop star has postponed his concert at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena on Sunday. As reported by Billboard, the venue’s website read the statement, "Due to positive COVID results within the Justice Tour family, we will unfortunately have to postpone Sunday’s show in Las Vegas. Justin is of course hugely disappointed, but the health and safety of his crew and fans is always his number one priority. The tour launch in San Diego was a massive success, and Justin is excited to bring this spectacular show to his Las Vegas fans as soon as possible.” Justin Bieber’s Las Vegas show has been rescheduled for June 28, but that date in contingent on the National Hockey League playoff schedule.
