Post furore over nude photoshoot Ranveer Singh to maintain a low profile

After the furore over his nude photographs and the flurry of FIRs that has followed, Ranveer Singh has taken a decision to remain low-profile, at least for a while. The decision comes in the aftermath of the uproar over Ranveer’s nudes for a foreign magazine. While Vidya Balan and some other members of the entertainment fraternity have come forward in his support most of the film industry feels the nude pictures were uncalled-for.

Taking the advice of his close friends including Karan Johar and wife Deepika Padukone, Ranveer has decided to lie low for a while. “He has been advised to dress sober, talk less and stop doing his favourite lap dance with everyone in the room,” a close friend of the power couple tells me.

The lap dance, for those who came in late, refers to Ranveer’s proclivity to plonk himself in his friends’ laps and shower them with cheek kisses.

This time Ranveer is listening. The nudes have eroded his equity in the entertainment business. Apparently he may lose some of his endorsement deals. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is also said to be in two minds now about casting Ranveer Singh in his next feature film.

Asha Bhosle’s family praying for her son Anand’s recovery who is admitted in ICU at a Dubai hospital

Singer Asha Bhosle has been singularly unfortunate regarding her children. She lost her daughter Varsha in 2012 under very tragic circumstances.
